In developing countries, women and children walk an average of 3.5 miles every day in search of water that ends up making them sick. Water Mission is a nonprofit Christian engineering organization that builds safe water and sanitation solutions for communities who lack access to this basic resource. On March 11, 2017 Clemson Residents in Science and Engineering (RiSE) and Clemson Engineers for Developing Countries (CEDC) are hosting their inaugural Walk for Water on campus to raise awareness and funds in support of those who are forced to walk for water. Register or donate today at http://walkforwatermission.org/walk/clemson/ to change lives through the provision of safe water!
