Join Spartanburg Philharmonic on May 11 at Twichell Auditorium  as they wrap up their 90th season with a remarkable performance of Beethoven’s 9th Symphony! Beethoven’s monumental 9th Symphony and its setting of Fredrich Schiller’s poemOde to Joy has become synonymous with freedom ever since it premiered in 1824. The concert will feature a community choir comprised of 100 individuals from over 20 different churches and school choirs. You won’t want to miss this incredible performance!
Doors will open for the pre-concert chat, Classical Conversations, with Maestro Stefan Sanders and Chris Vanneman at 6:00 pm. The show will begin at 7:00 pm. Tickets range from $25 to $55; teachers and youth under 22 get 50% off.
