The World Affairs Council Upstate and the Global Fluency Institute of Columbus, Ohio invite you to a 1/2 day training session designed to develop strong and effective cross-cultural business skills. The current global economy calls for employees to possess the necessary skills to interact effectively with people from different cultural backgrounds. Knowing how to market in appropriate context, negotiate and not alienate, forge trust and successfully communicate is key to success. This workshop provides participants with the tools to enter into successful business relationships between cultures. Brad Gosche, Senior Director of the Global Fluency Institute in Columbus, Ohio, leads the workshop. Organizations such as Chase, Honda, Nationwide Insurance, and many others, have worked with Mr. Gosche to train their employees and improve their international business acumen.

Following the morning workshop, the afternoon Regional Forum, in partnership with Ten at the Top, assesses how the Upstate economy is developing a culture that embraces Global Fluency. Panelists share their first hand experience in international business and the do’s and don’ts that come through years of experience at the top of their fields.

Price Includes: Global Fluency half day training workshop and lunch from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm, the Upstate Regional Forum from 2:30-4:30 pm, and the Networking Reception immediately following.
