Global Warming – Global WarNing

Given the dramatic changes in weather we have experienced lately, it is clear that climate change is undeniable. So, what can we do about it?  Can we, the community, find ways to collaborate among ourselves and with community/government leaders around real world sustainability challenges in our neighborhoods, in the Greenville community, nationally and globally?

America and the World, our 2019-2020 popular lunch & learn lecture series is entitled FLASHPOINTS and will highlight Global Impact Issues, the areas of concern often headlining in world news.

Some of the topics to be discussed include: Global Warming, the Economics of Terrorism, the Rise of nationalism, and Free Speech in Peril, among others.  Hosted by the World Affairs Council Upstate, each lecture will be presented by published experts in their fields, includes lunch, and there will be plenty of time for questions from the audience.
