The city partnered with the Hispanic Alliance, the Jorge Marín Foundation, Bank of America, and others to secure the exhibition of this collection in Greenville. The collection is expected to draw visitors from across the region and Adela Mendoza, executive director of the Hispanic Alliance of SC, said, “‘Wings of the City’ highlights the importance of migration and the cultural exchange that enriches societies…This world-class exhibit celebrates the global spirit of the Upstate — symbolizing human connection across distance, and the role of art as a universal language.”
