- Understand and use very basic expressions for needs.
- Introduce yourself and ask other questions about personal details.
- Have a simple conversation if the other person speaks slowly and clearly.

- The ability to read most hiragana and katakana is essential for keeping up with the class.
- Semester Length: 15 weeks
- No Class Date(s): March 16 - 20 (Spring Break)
- Materials Needed: Notebook/paper, pen/pencil.
