Join us for a great day of hiking and apple-picking while meeting new people. You won’t want to miss hiking (moderate to strenuous hike 1 hour each direction. If you prefer an easy hike there is an option to just do the bottom trails around the Carl Sandburg home.) in Flatrock, NC, visiting the Carl Sandburg Park and apple-picking at the Sky Top Orchard. We plan to be back by mid-afternoon. If you need to be back at an earlier time we recommend driving your own car.
