May potluck lunch and book exchange Get ready for your Summer reading! Bring a dish to share! Our International Women’s Group will host our traditional May end-of-season potluck lunch with a book exchange! A great way to complete your Summer reading book list!
“Bring a book – Take a book” Books in any language, fiction, non-fiction, romance, travel, cooking etc.
We will limit the initial book exchange to a maximum of 3 books each to give everyone an equal opportunity to get some real good picks! If any books are left after the initial exchange you can pick extra books.
Bring your books in a storage container or box (please label with your name) with the titles and/or covers showing. All containers and boxes will be put on display for people to browse through easily. At the end of the exchange you can bring your new found book treasures home in your own container.
If any of the books that you bring are leftover in the end you will have to pick up those books at the end and take them home or we suggest you donate them to local charities e.g. Greenville Literacy Association, 225 S. Pleasantburg; Miracle Hill Donation Center, 2709 Wade Hampton Blvd.; Little Lending Libraries in various neighborhood locations. Also most Greenville County libraries accept donated books in good condition for their biannual sales which help fund our local libraries.
