March 1st marks the beginning of Upstate International Month, celebrated with the ringing of bells at noon. All faith-based and community carillons are invited to join. This tradition is inspired by Bergamo, Italy, where bells ring nightly to signal the closing of city gates. Clemson & Furman Students, Abbeville Trinity Episcopal Church, and the City of Greenville will be participating!
