Jamaica Carby became a part of Upstate International(UI) as the Marketing and Communications Coordinator in August 2023. In this role, Jamaica plans and executes promotional campaigns and marketing initiatives in fulfilling UI’s regional mission. She develops strategies, creates marketing materials, manages social media accounts, sends out UI’s newsletter, and creates website updates. Jamaica creative skills started prior before joining our team with 4 years of experience in graphic design and other marketing related talents.
Jamaica was born Salisbury, NC, and partially raised in Virginia. She spends her time exploring the Upstate, learning new recipes, reading, and enjoying time with family.
