2025 Host a Summer Exchange Student - Opportunity for Your Family

The Atlantic Institute SC

Call for Hosts: Paula and Maureen are currently seeking open-minded families to host summer exchange students this year. The exchange program will run from June 28th to July 26th, and we’re excited to offer a unique opportunity for families to share their culture and learn about others. As part of the program, we’ll host weekly events that the whole family can participate in. Additionally, we’ll be available to help coordinate vacation times, so if you can only host for a couple of weeks, that’s perfectly fine!

Please note that the organization requires host families to either have children of their own or be very involved with families who do. Above all, the most important qualities we’re looking for are an open heart, a sense of adventure, and a genuine interest in helping others and learning about different cultures.

You might be wondering what’s involved in becoming a host family. Requirements:

  • A short application
  • An interview
  • Some pictures of your home and family
  • A background check

Get Involved: If you’re interested or have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us at [email protected]
