Hike/walk around beautiful Lake Junaluska with the option of touring a part of the Blue Ridge Parkway to enjoy the beautiful fall colors. Join us on this annual outing to Lake Junaluska in NC. Surrounded by mountains this lake has a hiking trail all around it and it is the perfect place to see the beauty of the fall colors! Bring your camera’s or make sure you have plenty of battery life on your phone to take pictures!! The hiking trail is 2.3 mile and is easy, paved and doable for all ages and hiker levels! Bring a picnic lunch, plenty of water. Lake Junaluska is a 1 hour and 45 min. drive from Greenville. We plan to return at the end of the afternoon. If you need to be back at an earlier time we recommend using your own car instead of car pooling. If you only have time to do the Lake Junaluska hike without the side trip to the Blue Ridge Parkway that is perfectly fine. If you plan on car pooling please bring $10 for the driver.
RSVP required with Margo at [email protected] by Friday 10/10/25, car pool meeting point will be send to you when you RSVP.
