Celebrating Unity in Diversity
[Greenville, SC] – January 26, 2024 – Upstate International (UI), the Upstate’s one-stop resource in empowering people of all nations to thrive in the Upstate, is preparing for its 11th annual Upstate International Month (UIM). Overall, UI seeks to be a supportive environment and a center focused on making the Upstate a home for all people as well as providing global engagement for our region. Since its inception in 2013, UIM has been filled with hundreds of internationally-themed public events, including colorful international parties, art receptions, theater performances, film screenings, global education programs, and opportunities to experience exciting culture and culinary creations from around the world.
During the month of March, Upstate International will be putting on a number of events for the Upstate community that encourages and promotes celebration and awareness of all things international. UI celebrates and shares in our cultural diversity not only by hosting a variety of activities and events, but by also volunteering and donating. Upstate International partners with hundreds of volunteers from across the region to host community programs and cultural events celebrating the Upstate’s rich cultural diversity and international business vitality. The primary 2024 sponsors of Upstate International Month include Piedmont Natural Gas, and the Elbert Rogers Foundation.
As UI is preparing for UIM, it is also excited to have launched its new website! With a user-friendly interface, the new website simplifies access to Upstate International’s programs, events, and services.
